In Paxos, the number one activity is to visit one of the many incredible beaches on offer. Paxos beaches are renowned for their unbelievably clear water and pristine sand. These are the perfect spots to while away the afternoon and kick back in the sunshine while the little ones go for a splash. With so many across the island, you could choose a new beach for every day of your getaway! When you fancy doing something else, we highly recommend taking some time to explore the main town of Gaios, an incredibly picturesque location with a port and a variety of restaurants (don’t forget to make a stop at the viewpoint of Gaios, as well as the nearby town of Longos. Elsewhere on Paxos island, you can pay a visit to Tripitos Arch, explore the alluring Blue Caves, and the stunning Agios Nikolaos Castle.
In destinations such as Paxos, we highly recommend finding your evening meals the old-fashioned way; strolling through the quaint towns, and finding the perfect hidden gem for an authentic Greek experience.
