The official language of Antigua and Barbuda is British English, although most inhabitants of the island speak Antigua and Barbuda Creole English, a variant of Leeward Caribbean Creole. There are also a number of Spanish-speaking inhabitants.

Do you need a passport to go to Antigua?

Yes, a passport valid for at least six months after the departure date is required by all visitors to Antigua. Visitors from the U.S., U.K., E.U. (except Croatia), Canada, and Australia don’t need to apply for a travel visa provided they have the correct documentation.
