Set just outside Ispica on Sicily’s southern coast, Baia L’Aura 8 offers a wonderfully peaceful seaside escape for up to 8 guests. This characterful retreat is made up of a main house and separate cottage-style annexes, all linked by garden paths and terraces that look out towards the sea. Thoughtfully restored with a fresh, relaxed feel, the property combines traditional charm with contemporary comfort. The main house features an inviting living room with TV, a kitchen and dining area, plus one double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and direct access to a private terrace. Three further double bedrooms are arranged in independent units, each with its own en-suite bathroom, private entrance and outdoor space, creating an ideal layout for families or groups who want time together as well as extra privacy. Air conditioning, WiFi, laundry facilities, an iron and ironing board, and included bed linen and towels all add to the comfort of your stay.
Outside is where this home truly shines. Surrounded by landscaped Mediterranean gardens, fragrant shrubs and stone terraces, there are plenty of beautiful spots to sunbathe, unwind or enjoy long meals in the open air. A covered terrace, alfresco dining area and BBQ make it easy to enjoy lazy lunches and relaxed evenings with a sea breeze. One of the standout features is the private access to the water: a short flight of steps leads down to a sea-view platform with sunbeds, shaded areas and an outdoor shower, perfect for swimming in the clear blue water below. Free and serviced beaches at Porto Ulisse are also just minutes away, while Ispica and nearby baroque towns are within easy reach for day trips. Pet friendly and full of atmosphere, this is a memorable base for discovering this beautiful corner of Sicily. Please note that the cliffside setting and low stone walls make the property unsuitable for children under 10.
