For Côte d’Azur vacation rentals, the best months are May, June, July, August, and September. July and August are the hottest and liveliest months for beaches, boat trips, beach clubs, and outdoor dining, while May, June, and September offer warm weather with a slightly more relaxed feel.

From the airport, most guests travel to their chalet by private transfer, shared ski shuttle, rental car, or train connection, depending on the resort and season.

For Côte d’Azur, the main airport is Nice Côte d’Azur Airport, which is ideal for reaching Nice, Cannes, Antibes, Saint-Tropez, Villefranche-sur-Mer, Èze, Beaulieu-sur-Mer, Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, and Monaco. Rental cars are useful for hillside villas, beaches, coastal drives, and smaller villages, while trains, taxis, and private transfers work well for travelling between major Riviera towns.
