In the 1950s, legendary Mario Lanza reportedly was a frequent guest in this Las Palmas home which was also rumored to have often entertained Frank Sinatra and neighboring Nat King Cole. Today this four bedroom residence with 3,000 square feet of indoor living, integrated with a spacious outdoor lifestyle is a new-century seductive oasis. There are 4 stylish bedrooms, two of which are master suites with large plasma TVs. The home also features a telescoping door from the great room to explore the night sky, and a media room with a home theater and surround sound. Guests have access to the modern and quaint kitchen with a ceiling to floor sliding door to outdoor dining. In addition to the indoor highlights, the home also has a secluded, private back yard which offers a saline hot tub and pool with tanning shelf. Our two weeks in Palm Spring did not start well. Flight delays, long rental car pick up lines and a power outage in the home when we arrived. Over the two weeks we found this house to be very tired and in need of repair. Particularly frustrating was the fridge door seal was broken. Other issues with the pool and TV's were the subject of repair calls that they did their best to get looked after quickly. However, the property is located within one of the best neighbourhoods in Palm Springs and we very much enjoyed its location and proximity to town. Our 3 kids joined us and it was big enough to accommodate everyone. We loved the big backyard, pool and hot tub. We also liked that heating the pool was included in our rental. Overall, we enjoyed our experience and the customer service.
