Poggio Medei stands on the top of a gentle hill near Citta della Pieve, between Tuscany and Umbria; it is a typical stone farmhouse set in a unique, picture-postcard landscape. Located just a few kilometres from the historic town centre of Citta della Pieve, one of the most beautiful and fascinating towns in Italy, guests will re-live the atmosphere of times gone by, losing themselves in unique emotions that they will never forget, remembering this as one of their best vacations. The farmhouse has recently been renovated with typical materials of the area, combining tradition with modern comforts and creating a unique mix, exclusive to this location. Inside the property, the simple furnishings, with attention to detail, provide an intimate, homely and relaxing atmosphere with their subdued colours for those staying there. For added comfort, the spacious bedrooms on the first floor are all air conditioned. The house is perfect for reunions of old friends and families with children where privacy reigns supreme and where set-up areas in the park provide unique sensations. The garden contains many types of plants, tall trees and flowers typical of the area and just a few metres from the house, on a lower terrace, is the beautiful swimming pool. Enjoying an aperitif by the pool or dining under the pergola of kiwis will be an unforgettable experience, especially at sunset with views over the hills and little towns of Cetona and Sarteano, lit up like a nativity scene.
