Description

Podere Le Caprarecce is an old stone farmhouse, the result of the recovery of a late nineteenth-century agricultural residence, originally composed of a first residential floor, a stable on the ground floor and a sheepfold (from which it takes its name) located at a twenty meters from the main building. It has been renovated by salvaging the original materials integrated by local handicraft products, giving life to the farmhouse and annex: barberino stone for the walls, antique terracotta floors, exposed chestnut ceiling beams. Podere Le Caprarecce is immersed in the rolling countryside of cultivated and tree-planted terrain with vines and olive trees in the wine area of Morellino di Scansano, with the maquis that nourishes and designs the typical hilly Maremma morphology on a mountainous ridge that forms the watershed between the Ombrone and Albegna rivers.
