Formosa Valley Resort is conveniently placed for reaching the world-class Disney parks. Animal Kingdom is the closest, which is a 14 minute drive away, whilst Magic Kingdom is the furthest away, at only 16 minutes' drive.
You can arrange shuttle transportation with Formosa Valley Resort once your booking is complete. However, if you prefer a sense of complete freedom whilst away, a car rental is the way to go!

Airports in Orlando
Formosa Valley Resort is located 27.4 miles (32-minute drive) from Orlando International Airport (MCO) and 13.4 miles (29-minute drive) from Kissimmee Airport (ISM-Kissimmee Gateway). Formosa Valley Resort can easily be reached from the airport by taxi, car or shuttle.
How do you get from Formosa Valley Resort to the main airport?
The main airport in Orlando is Orlando International, which is located on the outskirts of the city in the southeast. Formosa Valley Resort, on the other hand, is located on the outskirts in the southwest. There are two main ways to get between the two, with the main and fastest route being along the FL-528. This takes 29 minutes in good traffic and covers 27.7 miles. Please note this is a toll road. However, it passes several large shops, such as Walmart and Publix, which makes it the perfect route to choose if you are planning on stopping off to pick up any last minute bits for your vacation.
The second route is also a toll road, and takes half an hour, covering 27.8 miles. Due to the very slight difference in time, the fact that there are tolls on both routes, but only the first way passes some useful stores, we recommend taking the FL-528.
Driving in Orlando
Driving in Kissimmee and Orlando is extremely easy, thanks to their wide road networks. If heading to the Disney parks, it's best to leave first thing in the morning, before the parks open. This will leave you with plenty of time to explore!
