When it comes to heading out for your dinner, we recommend crossing the border into Sint Maarten and paying a visit to the Cupecoy Marina area. This is the closest area to Baie Longue that has a plethora of wonderful eateries on offer, some with some incredible views over the marina itself, along with its peacefully bobbing boats. Our personal favorite is the Big Cees Water Front Dining, which offers the best views whilst you enjoy your delectable meal from a varied menu. We also love the classy Argentianian inspired cuisine at Cambuci, the sophisticated Rendez Vous Lounge, and the scrumptious seafood available at Ginger 2. There are plenty more restaurants in this area, along with a popular waterfront bar where you can enjoy a few of your favorite drinks after your meal.
Things to do near Baie Longue
Located in one of the prime areas of Saint Martin, you’d be forgiven for thinking that everyone who visits Baie Longue goes for the beaches. They are simply stunning on this side of the island, with pristine sandy stretches that seem to go on for miles, and easy access to several of the most popular beaches in the island (including the extremely famous Maho Beach, where it seems as if you can almost touch the places as they come in for land over the ocean at the Princess Juliana Airport!).
However, despite the beauty of the coastline, that’s not the only reason you should consider visiting. St Martin is jam-packed with incredible activities you can fill your vacation with, including paying a visit to Topper’s Rhum Distillery, enjoying some high-adrenaline zipline experiences at Rainforest Adventures, or taking in the landscape from a new perspective with some horseback riding at Seaside Nature Park.
