Nonno Fernando is a beautifully restored stone farmhouse in the Tuscan countryside of Le Fosse, just a short drive from the medieval hill town of Cortona, with views toward the Val di Chiana and Lake Trasimeno. Dating back to around the early 19th century, the property retains its authentic rural character through Tuscan terracotta floors, exposed chestnut beams and traditional stonework, while offering modern comforts for a relaxed group stay. With 9 bedrooms, 10.5 bathrooms and space for up to 22 guests, it is ideal for extended families or friends travelling together. The main house features a generous living room, a dining room with fireplace and a well-equipped kitchen, while five separate annexes provide additional privacy, each with its own small living area and kitchenette. Many bedrooms include en-suite shower rooms, and the mix of double and twin rooms makes the layout flexible for different groups.

Outside, the estate is surrounded by 18 hectares of Tuscan scenery, with landscaped gardens, lavender, colourful flowerbeds, olive and elm trees, and an orchard with nuts, figs and pomegranates. Days can be spent by the fenced private pool, relaxing on the lawned solarium with loungers and seating, or unwinding beneath shaded gazebos with a glass of local wine. The outdoor spaces are made for sociable living, with a large gazebo for alfresco meals, a stone barbecue close to the kitchen, and plenty of room for games including table tennis, foosball and volleyball. Guests also benefit from Wi-Fi, air conditioning, satellite TV, a DVD player, laundry facilities, dishwasher, parking, bedding and towels, and pet-friendly convenience.
