It’s a 10-minute drive from Reunion Resort to Disney World. You’re also within easy reach of other world-famous attractions such as Universal Studios, Seaworld, Gatorland and International Drive. For resort members, Reunion Resort offers a free shuttle service to Disney World and Universal Studios.

Getting to Reunion Resort from Orlando Airport

Orlando International Airport is located just 27 miles from Reunion Resort Orlando. Transportation is very easy with rent-a-car stations located at the airport terminals, as well as Uber and several other large taxi companies. Alternatively, our dedicated guest experience team can arrange a private transfer to your villa. On request, we can also deliver a car to your villa for use during your stay.

Things to do near Reunion Resort

With so many activities at Reunion Resort, you might not want to leave! But if you do decide to venture out you’ll find endless things to do nearby.

There are no vacation communities north of Disney World or near Universal Studios, so you won’t find a rental community much closer than Reunion Resort. You’ll also find other parks like Gatorland, Seaworld and Icon Park, all close by. Check out Orlando’s amazing water parks, and visit other top attractions like Old Town, Fun Spot America and Magical Midway Thrill Park.

Reunion Resort has plenty of dining options to try, but if you fancy heading out you’ll find a great selection of restaurants nearby. Just down the road is a Subway, McDonalds, Papa John’s, a Chinese takeaway and a Dunkin’ Donuts. While the popular Highway 192 offers lots more restaurants such as Bahama Breeze, Miller's Ale House, Longhorns and many more.

If you’re looking for the nearest shops you will find a handful of smaller outlets, liquor stores, pharmacies, fast food chains and gas stations close by. For larger stores there’s Champions Gate Village, Celebration Factory Outlet, Old Town, the Mall at Millenia, Pointe Orlando, Premium Outlets, all within a short distance.

Reunion Resort is the only resort in the US to boast 3 championship golf courses designed by the legendary golfers Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, and Tom Watson. For something else, the nearest public courses are Mystic Dunes Golf Club in Palms Parkway, Champions Gate Golf Club on White Shark Boulevard, and Celebration Golf Club on Golf Park Drive. Also nearby are Orange Lake, Highlands Reserve and the courses at Disney World.

If you want to enjoy your vacation in style, we can arrange groceries to be delivered to your villa, or have a chef and bartender visit you to create delicious meals and cocktails. Stock up during your trip at Reunion’s onsite shop, or head to the local supermarkets, there’s a Publix just around the corner and another one just over a mile away at Champions Gate.

Other things to do near Reunion Resort

Get up close to wild alligators at Gatorland, take the little ones on a trip to Legoland, or make a splash at some of the best water parks in the world. The Disney-designed town of Celebration is a great place to visit with its famous ice cream parlor and beautiful chain of lakes. You’ll also have great fun at Margaritaville’s Sunset Walk which has shops, restaurants and a movie theater.

Little ones will love Reunion’s incredible water park with its huge pool, long lazy river, twisting water slides and water games the whole family can enjoy. Reunion’s water park is a firm favorite with older kids, while tiny tots can enjoy hours of fun at the splash zone which has water sprays and a giant bucket that empties every few minutes.

Adjacent to the pool area you’ll find plenty more opportunities for games such as ping pong, billiards, ladder ball, hula hoop games, relay races, corn hole and giant chess. While the little ones play, adults can kick back in a full-service cabana featuring ceiling fans, lounge chairs, tables and a sofa.

Reunion’s playgrounds are the perfect place for kids to expend some energy. There are two exciting options to choose from, one in Center Ridge and the other in Villas South. Let your kids’ swing, climb and slide to their heart’s content!

Over at Reunion’s Kids’ Crew Camp, there are tons of activities such as crafts, games and puzzles, as well as the ultimate in gaming systems. Reunion also has a fun-packed gaming arcade, open daily. Plus a sports complex featuring tennis courts, basketball courts and sand volleyball.

As if that wasn't enough, kids can play fun games of foot golf out on the golf course - it’s like regular golf but played with a football instead. At nighttime, head to rooftop restaurant Eleven where you can catch great views of Disney’s nightly fireworks.
