Description
Villa Il Pozzo stands in a private estate of 1,200 hectares with a large wooded area where guests can enjoy pleasant walks or bike rides. The villa was a farmhouse dating back to the mid-1800s which has just undergone a total renovation, maintaining the charm of Tuscan farmhouses but with a modern style and decorative solutions, as can be clearly seen inside where we find some typical elements of Tuscan style, such as ceilings with exposed wooden beams, terracotta floors and exposed stone walls, but also modern materials for the cladding, trimmings and furnishings. Worthy of note is the internal walkway conceived as a connecting element between the rooms on the ground floor, connected to the staircase leading to the floor below and thus managing to provide an image of continuity to the different levels of the property. The furnishings are a clever combination of modern style and French vintage, conferring originality and character on the property. The exterior is a space to be fully enjoyed with the well-kept garden planted with natural grass and plants typical of the Mediterranean scrub and the upper Maremma, with a cosy outdoor dining area set up on the terracotta paving in front of the kitchen and indoor dining area and with the swimming pool just a few steps from the villa, immersed in greenery and with a beautiful view of the surrounding hills. Thanks to its characteristics and position, Villa Il Pozzo is ideal for those in search of privacy, relaxation and absolute tranquillity but also with the possibility of making interesting tourist and gastronomic excursions, being within easy reach of Volterra, Siena, San Gimignano, Cecina and other renowned localities in Tuscany.
