Messina 2 is a peaceful six-bedroom Sicilian retreat set among the rolling green hills of Castel di Lucio, offering a wonderful setting for a family gathering or escape with friends. Sleeping up to 14 guests, this single-level villa combines traditional character with inviting outdoor living. Inside, the atmosphere is warm and relaxed, with a cosy living room centred around a fireplace and comfortable seating for quiet evenings together. The separate kitchen is equipped for easy holiday dining, with essentials including a coffee maker, microwave, fridge and hob. The sleeping layout is ideal for groups, with four bedrooms featuring a double bed and two further bedrooms offering a double bed plus a sofa bed. All six bedrooms are paired with their own bathroom, creating plenty of comfort and privacy for everyone. Useful touches such as WiFi, ceiling fans, parking, laundry facilities and ironing equipment make longer stays easy and convenient, while the villa is also well suited to children and elderly guests.
Outside, the villa really comes into its own. A private pool takes pride of place in the sunshine, surrounded by sunloungers, a garden and a wooden terrace designed for long, lazy days outdoors. There is also a barbecue and an alfresco dining and lounge area, perfect for enjoying meals in the fresh air while soaking up the calm countryside setting. The surrounding area offers a lovely mix of nature, art and authentic Sicilian charm, from the nearby open-air sculptures of Fiumara d’Arte to local farms, historic churches and the hilltop village atmosphere of Castel di Lucio. The blue-flag beaches of Tusa are also within easy reach, making this villa a fantastic base for both complete relaxation and memorable days out in Sicily.
