Discover luxury vacation rentals in Babalua Beach, Providenciales
Babalua Beach is in the middle of Providenciales' northern coast in the beautiful Turks and Caicos Islands. It is quite unusual amongst Providenciales’ other famous stretches of sand because it is bordered by a cove on one side and sea cliffs on the other, effectively cutting it off from other beaches on the island that run into each along the coastline. For this reason, Babalua Beach is somewhat overlooked by many, making it one of the quietest and most serene beaches in the area.
Our stunning Babalua Beach villas are some of the finest Providenciales vacation rentals around, with luxurious features including private pools, breathtaking sea views, and on-site staff. Perfect for families and large groups on a Turks and Caicos vacation, the villas sleep as many as 20 guests.
Babalua Beach (also sometimes known as Blue Mountain Beach), is located on the coast of Turks and Caicos’ Providenciales island, between Turtle Cove and Thompson Cove on the northern coast.
The closest airport to Babalua Beach is Providenciales International Airport, which is located just 9 miles away.
Late winter to early mid-spring is the perfect time to visit Babalua Beach. The weather is warm, perfect for days at the beach, and rain is minimal during this period.
Babalua Beach does offer good swimming, although the water is not as pristine as it is on the famous shores of Grace Bay. Babalua Beach is best for relaxing on the sand and paddling in the shallow water. If you want full-on swimming and snorkeling, you’d be best to take a day trip to one of Providenciales’ other beaches.
No, you cannot hire sun loungers at Babalua Beach.
If you’re into blissful beach days and relaxing by the sea, then Babalua Beach is the place for you. The beach is 900 meters long, so has plenty of space for sunbathing, and is often overlooked by tourists in favor of the more famous beaches up the coast, so it’s a wonderful spot for a bit of peace and seclusion. The seabed at Babalua Beach is rocky with seagrass, so although the snorkeling is not as spectacular as in other places on the island, you will still likely see some colorful fishes swimming around.
Although Babalua Beach itself does not have any restaurants on it, you’re never far from somewhere to grab a bite to eat on Providenciales. The island is pretty small, so you can easily make your way from Babalua Beach to the more touristy areas, such as Grace Bay, where you will find a plethora of eateries serving up both local and international cuisine.
