House Rules
- Pets are not allowed at Lagunita Shores. Pets are allowed at Lakeside on Lagunita for a fee, but undisclosed pets at either location without prior approval will result in a $500 fine per pet.
- All guests, including infants and children, count towards the total occupancy of the home. Occupancy limits cannot be exceeded.
- Smoking is prohibited on the property. Violations of the no-smoking policy will result in a $300 fee and possible forfeiture of the security deposit for fire or property damage costs.
- No street parking is allowed. Parking spaces are designated for each property.
Noise and Conduct
- Outdoor spas and activities are restricted from 10 pm to 7 am.
- Amplified sound outside is prohibited, and indoor noise should not be audible at the property line. Violations may incur fines up to $10,000.
- Parties or events are not permitted without prior written approval and may involve additional fees and fines.
Use of Amenities
- Guests are responsible for disposing of trash at the designated local dumpsite in accordance with the City of Big Bear policy. Charges may apply for non-compliance.
- Use of certain amenities, like the hot tub, is subject to specific terms such as quiet hours and guest limits.
- Lake levels may vary; guests bringing boats should verify conditions and applicable rules with the Big Bear Municipal Water District.
Safety and Courtesy
- During the winter (November through March), all vehicles must carry chains.
- Health and safety protocols are in effect, including enhanced cleaning and sanitization, with personal protective equipment recommended for service vendors.
- Guests should adhere to strict cleaning and sanitation measures for a safe stay.
