The idea behind Margaritaville Resort Orlando

Inspired by the lyrics of the Jimmy Buffett song Margaritaville, the resort is styled as a tropical oasis where guests are invited to kick back and enjoy life to the full. On arrival you’re welcomed to an ‘island state of mind’, a one-stop destination where everything you need for the perfect vacation is right on-site.
There are four main sections; Margaritaville Hotel, Margaritaville Cottages (villas), Sunset Walk (the retail district) and Island H20 (the water park). Across these you’ll find dozens of restaurants, shops, spas and entertainment spots including lagoon-style pools and a dine-in movie theater.
Each section is set within the 300-acre plot making Margaritaville one of the largest resorts in Orlando. That doesn’t make it difficult to navigate though as all of the amenities are within walking distance of the accommodation. A tram system also circles the resort for those who don’t wish to walk.
What’s more, guests can make the most of complimentary transportation to Disney World, Universal Orlando and other top attractions.
