Hummingbird stay March/April 2026
Hummingbird villas is absolutely amazing. Super clean. Grace is the housekeeper. She is there between 9am and 4pm every day. She changes the bathroom towels and changes the sheets EVERY DAY. Below are some helpful tips. - Sea Shed is across the street. It is a restaurant with beach service. You can rent loungers and sea shed has great food. We got carry out for dinner two times during the 7 day stay. - the guys that work at sea shed on the beach are amazing. They are constantly coming by to help. They would reset/reangle our umbrellas anytime the sun moved and they were amazing with our kids. Ramario and Jamar are the best! - LarryRogers is close but small portions, $$$, and made my stomach upset. They also do not have loungers to rent. If you want to rent in front of Larry Roger’s you have to be a part of the Royal Westmoreland (the hummingbird is not) - silver moon - max 12 people on a catamaran. Super friendly staff and service - we did a monkey feeding excursion through trip advisor. It was awesome. Kids and adults loved it. - sunnd - spa with exercise classes next door to hummingbird villas - get a chef for a few nights - we wish we did - pier one restaurant - super slow. Staff/waitress not friendly. Bad food - great views and service at The Tides Restaurant - hummingbird villa is in a complex of villas called Mullins Bay. Very confusing bc there is also the beach Mullins Bay across the street - Best taxi driver on the island is Zeb (Kings Servicez 246-285-1656). He is professional and nice. Big plus that his car is clean and fresh/new. Absolutely amazing. Trust me, we had several terrible drivers (driving skill, smoked in car, not friendly, etc). - stay away from the ropes when in the water on the beach. Sea lice live on them and they sting/hurt terribly - Chefette is a must try - great roti and fried chicken. We got a bunch of roti and ate it over several days (it microwaves well). Yes, fast food. But when in Rome! Hahaha - Massys is a great supermarket. As the week goes on they run out of food and have to restock. We went on a Saturday morning and got everything and anything we would want. - Wafel Haus - we had for two breakfasts. It is within walking distance. My husband walked there the first time & got a taxi the second time. He got 8 meals and brought them back to us to eat on the deck. It was amazing. Awesome waffles (so many different types) and omelets. - Shaka gives massages on the beach. Same price to go somewhere nicer. SUNND is across the street (literally next door to hummingbird) and they do massages - I would get one there. Shaka is extremely nice. The kids loved seeing him and talking to him.
