The Reunion Resort Golf courses

Arnold Palmer, Tom Watson and Jack Nicklaus: these are the legendary golfers behind Reunion’s stunning golf courses. Each course gives golfers a different challenge, but all three are set in beautiful surroundings – and all three have won numerous awards and accolades.

The Palmer Course

Big elevation changes and wide fairways make Arnold Palmer’s par 72 course wonderfully challenging, even for experienced golfers. Bowl-shaped bunkers are edged by lush natural preserve areas, and there are more than a dozen different types of plants and grasses growing on and around the course. You may even spot owls, osprey and armadillos as you work your way from hole to hole.

The Watson Course

Set on a former citrus grove, Tom Watson’s signature course at Reunion will really make you think. Strategically laid out, it puts the focus on short, accurate shots rather than long drives. Some of the holes edge the scenic Davenport Creek Preserve, making this an attractive spot to polish your short game.

The Nicklaus Course

Jack Nicklaus is a legend among golfers and his course at Reunion demands a certain amount of careful planning. The parkland-style course is built in a bird sanctuary, and water hazards play a part in exactly half of the 18 holes. Need to brush up on your skills? FootGolf at Reunion

Imagine if you could combine soccer with golf and kick your way to glory on a stunning 18-hole course. Well, dream no more. Reunion Resort is the perfect place to get to grips with FootGolf – a fun, challenging game that takes inspiration from two of the world’s best sports – on a specially designed course.

What is FootGolf?

In many ways, FootGolf is exactly like regular golf; the aim is to get around the course with the fewest number of strokes – or kicks – as possible.

The big difference is that instead of swinging a club at a golf ball, you’re using your feet to kick a soccer ball towards the holes (don’t worry, the holes are a little bigger than usual and they’re marked out with large flags).

Just like in golf, there are scorecards. You can choose to play a nine-hole round or, if you fancy it, you can go for the whole 18. Just look out for the bunkers and the water hazards.

FootGolf at Reunion Resort

The thing that makes Reunion a special FootGolf destination is that the action takes place on a world-class golf course, designed by golfing legend Tom Watson. Each hole has a par of between three and five kicks, and there’s a total par of 72 for the course.

When you sign up for a round of FootGolf at Reunion Resort you’ll be able to rent a golf cart and a soccer ball. You can tee off from noon each day, but aim to book at least seven days in advance.
