Set among the lush hills covered by olive groves and woods overlooking the Umbrian Valley, an old fertile plain that stretches from Spoleto to Perugia, on a gentle slope just 5 km from the bustling art city of Foligno, is Casa degli Oleandri, an elegant residence born from the complete restoration of an old farmhouse in the mid '70s thanks to the taste and refinement of the owners who, with their large family, loved it and lived in it, enhancing it with top quality antique furniture and objects together with details and furnishings of modern, functional design. The fine planks of hand-planed oak used for the floor of the brightly-lit living area, from which stands out the imposing rock left exposed like a true work of natural art; the play of light and height given by the large windows and ceilings to the more visible layers in most of the rooms; the wonderful master bedroom with elegant panoramic bathroom. All this contributes in giving the house its unique charm, accentuated by the lush and well-tended garden with the shady outdoor dining area, the terrace and pool overlooking the entire valley and from where you can admire memorable sunsets.
