Skiing at River Run is just 4 miles away, easily accessible on the free shuttle or by car. A roomy one-car heated garage makes it easy to access the slopes and downtown Ketchum, a 10-minute drive away.
For nights when you feel like staying in, take advantage of the Elkhorn community amenities, including a steam room, hot tub and sauna, summer-use community pool, and outdoor tennis courts. Or simply get cozy in the great room by the fireplace and gather on the plush, sectional sofa with a queen sleeper (so you can add two more to your party) for a movie night in front of the large-screen Apple TV. Our stay at Camas 217 can only be described as heavenly; The home itself is large, comfortable, exquisitely furnished yet uncluttered while still cozy. The owners have flawless taste. The layout of the home itself worked perfectly for our family of four, but would also work well for couples I’d imagine. The (chef’s) kitchen was well stocked by owners who clearly take cooking seriously, and have left nothing to chance..from Utensils we didn't know we needed, to basic and no-so-basic spices . The location of the home is ideal; close to everything, yet on a quiet street. There are breathtaking views from almost every window. We were sad to leave, and if fortunate enough, would visit again in a heartbeat, winter, spring, summer or fall. Our visit was made seamless by the local Natural Retreats team in Sun Valley, and everything in the home (TV/wifi etc) and the directions relating to those items, were straightforward and simple. Everything in the home was in perfect, immaculate working order; above and beyond our expectations. We are incredibly grateful for an unforgettable stay.
