Between the provinces of Pisa and Siena, in the crisp air of the hills, within the Tegoni farm estate is Villa Airone, immersed in a green vortex of dense vegetation that surrounds it in a fragrant embrace of perfume. The villa was built in modern key in 2015, initially conceived as a Club House for the riders of the stables to relax in; it has a framework made entirely of laminated wood, walls in ecological material, insulation in goat-wool panels covered with Siberian larch wood that guarantee the best thermal insulation. It has just one floor, creating contemporary and functional environments with the aim of capturing the wonders of the place in which it lies through large windows. At the front, a natural pond formed by rainwater communicates an energy and a particular charm at all hours of the day and in all seasons. The terrace in front of the villa, the vital centre of the property, is set up with tables and chairs where guests can enjoy the open air in total relaxation while nearby, in a more secluded position, is a heated swimming pool with salt purification, solarium and counter-current swimming. The park surrounding the residence, mainly lawned and dotted with tall leafy trees, extends into the 30-hectare farm which includes an organic olive grove and a free-range piggery of the prized Cinta Senese pigs, stables, due to the owners' great passion for horses, and a large indoor riding school. The main entrance leads into an open-plan area where your attention will be caught by the modern kitchen, an extension of the living and dining room and a tasting room where you can take part in cooking classes, culinary demonstrations and wine-food pairing courses.
