Barbados Sailing Week is an exciting event that brings together sailing enthusiasts from around the world. Dating back to the 19th century, this annual festival showcases the island's passion for sailing and the beauty of the Caribbean Sea. The festival features a series of thrilling races, including 3 coastal races and the 90-mile Mount Gay Round Barbados Race, where participants circumnavigate the island to compete for top honors. Spectators can witness the sleek yachts slicing through the turquoise waters, and the atmosphere is electric with anticipation and excitement. In addition to the races, the festival offers a range of activities, including sailing clinics, parties, and social gatherings that allow participants and visitors to mingle and share their love for the sport.
*An optional Rum to Spice Offshore Race from Barbados - Carriacou, Grenada is also taking place on January 22, 2026.
