Have you started thinking about getting away for Easter? A quick break with the kids during the holidays or with a group of friends? If you’re looking for suggestions of where to go, look no further. DisneyWorld does all these special occasions so well and they seem to appeal to all ages.
Disney’s Easter treats
We know Disney does the big occasions well and Easter is no different. Easter egg hunts, Easter candy, parades and a special appearance of the rabbit himself together with his wife, Mrs Bunny.
The Magic Kingdom goes all out
If you want to be sure to catch the Easter Bunny and his wife, he’ll be putting in an appearance for a ‘meet and greet’ at the Tour Guide Gardens where you can get his autograph if you’re lucky or have your photo taken with the furry couple.
The famous Easter Parade will take place on Easter Sunday, March 31st at 3p.m. Make sure you don’t miss it. You can even enjoy a ‘pre-parade’ special 15 minutes beforehand.
Searching for the Easter egg hunt
It will happen at Epcot in the United Kingdom Pavilion on Easter Sunday. Again Mr & Mrs Bunny on their busy schedule will pop in for more photos and autographs.
And for some more Easter fun at Epcot pop over to the Innovations in Future World where you’ll find another Easter egg hunt in the ‘Easter Garden’ – you can never have too many Easter eggs right? There are also some fun games there like the bunny ring toss or the Easter Egg bean bag toss!
For the grown ups
Not strictly about Easter but all those garden lovers among you will be pleased to find that Epcot’s Flower & Garden Festival will have started so there will lots of topiary, gardens and great blooms to see.
Easter falls late this year over that last weekend in March so the weather in Orlando should be warm and dry, perfect for Easter egg rolling. You could even organise you own hunt or rolling celebration in the extensive grounds around your Orlando villa. Have fun.
