The US ski season isn’t over yet. In fact, 2021 is proving to be a record year for North America with some ski resorts experiencing more snow than ever, and many extending their closing dates into late spring and early summer.
Conditions at this time of year are perfect. The days are warmer and longer, so you can ski until the lifts close and still have enough daylight to enjoy aprés ski outdoors. And spring skiing is cheaper, with plenty of late-season deals to be found on flights, lodging and lift tickets.
So if you’re looking for your skiing fix, here’s a list of the top US resorts that have the best spring skiing right now. All of these options are in North America (hello, springtime snow) and all are set to stay open well into April, May and beyond.

Check out the area’s awesome springtime events too. Perhaps the most fun and popular is Park City Mountain’s Spring Gruv, a 16-day celebration marking the close of the ski season. It features a whole 16 days of free concerts and events spread across the mountain’s two villages, Park City Base and Canyons Village.
