Beginning in August and continuing into November, Orlando offers one of the longest and most varied Halloween seasons in the country. In fact, Visit Orlando has confirmed 94 consecutive days of Halloween celebrations from August 7 through November 8, 2026, spanning the major theme parks, family attractions, haunted experiences and seasonal entertainment. Whether you’re looking for gentle spooks, extreme scares or some fun seasonal entertainment, this guide rounds up some of our favorite Orlando Halloween events for 2026.
2026 Orlando Halloween events
Walt Disney World
Dates: Select events from August through November 2026
Halloween arrives early at Walt Disney World in 2026. At Magic Kingdom, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party runs on select nights from August 7 through October 31, with trick-or-treating, character encounters, themed food and returning entertainment including Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade, Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular and the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular. New for 2026, Stitch hosts an ever-changing Tomorrowland dance party with Lilo and Angel.
There are fall experiences elsewhere around Walt Disney World too. At EPCOT, the International Food & Wine Festival runs from August 27 through November 21, while Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit takes place from September 25 through November 2, 2026, inviting families to search for Disney-inspired decorative pumpkins and collect a festival keepsake. At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Hollywood & Vine will once again host Minnie’s Halloween Dine, with Minnie and friends appearing in seasonal costumes, although Disney has not yet published the exact 2026 Halloween Dine dates.
Magic Kingdom
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party
Dates: Select nights from August 7 through October 31, 2026
Get ready for one of Disney World’s biggest family-friendly Halloween celebrations. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party returns to Magic Kingdom for select nights from August 7 through October 31, running from 7pm to midnight, with party guests able to enter Magic Kingdom from 4pm.
For 2026, the party combines favorite traditions with some new surprises. Trick-or-treat at more than a dozen locations, meet Disney characters in Halloween attire and watch the Headless Horseman ride before Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade. The Sanderson Sisters return for the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular, while Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular brings projections and fireworks to Cinderella Castle. The spooky-sounding Cadaver Dans also return to Frontierland.
New for 2026, Stitch, Lilo and Angel host an ever-changing dance party at Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland. Selected attractions also receive a Halloween twist, including pitch-black thrills and spooky music on Space Mountain, special lighting on the Mad Tea Party, and trick-or-treating at Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor. Look out for exclusive Halloween food, drinks, merchandise and photo opportunities throughout the evening too.
Universal Orlando Resort
Halloween Horror Nights
Dates: Select nights, August 28 through November 1, 2026
Prepare for a much darker Halloween celebration at Universal Orlando Halloween Horror Nights 35, returning to Universal Studios Florida for its landmark 35th year. Taking place on select nights from August 28 through November 1, 2026, the separately ticketed event features 10 all-new haunted houses, four immersive scare zones, live entertainment, themed food and drinks, and some of Universal Studios Florida’s attractions operating into the night. Universal advises that the event may be too intense for young children and does not recommend it for children under 13. Costumes and costume masks are not permitted.
The 2026 haunted-house line-up includes Stranger Things 5, Sinners, Hellraiser, Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness, Evil Dead Burn, Jack & Oddfellow: Chaos & Control, INVASION: Alien Abduction, H.R. Bloodengutz Presents: A Halloween Fright-Tacular!, MADLANDS: Caged Cannibals and Cybergoria.
For its 35th anniversary, Universal Studios Florida transforms into the Infernal Carnival of Nightmares, ruled by Halloween Horror Nights icons Jack the Clown and Dr. Oddfellow. Beyond the houses, brave scare zones including Fortnitemares, Infernal Carnival of Nightmares, Downtown Clowntown and Sideshow of Decay, then catch live entertainment including the new Stranger Things: Return to Hawkins lagoon show and Nightmare Fuel: Blood Noir.
Specialty Halloween Horror Nights food, drinks and merchandise will also be available throughout the event, giving you plenty of opportunities to refuel between scares.
Legoland Resort Florida
Brick-or-Treat Monster Party
Dates: Select dates from September 5 through October 31, 2026
For younger Halloween fans, Brick-or-Treat at LEGOLAND® Florida Resort returns for its biggest season yet, running across 18 select dates from September 5 through October 31, 2026. Better still, the event is included with regular LEGOLAND Florida theme park admission, making it an easy addition to a family day at the park.
New for 2026 is Brick or Treat Street, an interactive trick-or-treating neighborhood where families can explore the homes of LEGO Halloween monsters, collect treats and LEGO bricks, and take part in hands-on surprises. There’s also the new Potion Mischief Light Trail, a Halloween version of Galacticoaster, the Department of Monster Vehicles, LEGO building activities, character encounters and plenty of candy.
Returning entertainment includes the Zombie Cheer Crew, V.I.M Dance Party, The Great Monster Chase 4D and Jammin’ Jacks. On selected Saturday nights — October 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31 — families can finish their visit with the Monster Skytacular, an 8pm drone show filled with lights and Halloween beats.
Gatorland, Orlando
Gators, Ghosts and Goblins
Dates: October 10-11, 17-18 & 24-25, 2026
Enjoy a wilder kind of Halloween at Gatorland’s Gators, Ghosts & Goblins, returning on October 10-11, 17-18 and 24-25, 2026. This daytime, kid-friendly event is included with regular park admission and combines Halloween fun with Gatorland’s famous wildlife attractions.
Expect festive décor, trick-or-treating, live shows, a DJ, games, candy giveaways, specialty vendors, interactive characters, animal meet-and-greets and Halloween photo opportunities. Families can also brave the Haunted Museum, which returns with a new theme, while younger visitors can join the Children’s Halloween Costume Parade, with treat bags for participating children. Costumes are welcome, but keep them family-friendly.
