Villa Avra is another of our favorites due to it’s incredible location. Nestled right on the waterfront in the popular area of Rethymno, simply step out of your front doors, cross the street used for beach parking, and you’re there! Enjoy a huge stretch of sandy shore and clear water as far as the eye can see. The beach opposite this property is popular, with plenty of sun loungers and parasols. As you’re about ten seconds away, you will always have first dibs! The villa also comes complete with terraces, where you can enjoy the sea views from the comfort of your holiday home, if you want to spend a day in your villa.
The beautiful Villa Avra looks as if it has been made out of sand itself, with it’s beautiful sandy tones to the exterior. On the outside, you will also find an illuminated swimming pool, sun loungers if you don’t want to use the ones on the beach, and a dining table where you can tuck into your evening meal.
Villa Eleni
Villa Eleni, though located a short drive from the nearest beach, is included in our favorites for a Greece beach vacation because of the absolutely picture-perfect, deep golden sand, with a wide shoreline and translucent waters. If you aren’t planning on using a car for your holiday, you can also walk to the beach in around twenty minutes. If you are bringing little ones, there is also a children’s amusement centre nearby, which is sure to keep them entertained when you all want a change of pace from the typical seaside activities.

Zakynthos

The beautiful Villa Helona in the South of the island of Zakinthos, is located only around a ten minute walk from Marathias beach. It is a small stretch of rocky beach, with scenery unlike what you would expect from the busier, sandy stretches of shore, with rising rocky landscapes looming in the distance. With more, similar rocky shores dotted around the area, this is the perfect place to go for the adventure-seeking explorers amongst you. However, if you are bringing a car, you can head a few minutes up the road and come to Keri Beach, which offers a beautiful pebble shore, sun loungers with parasols, and some more fascinating rocky formations for you to explore.
