As the birthplace of French surfing, the Biarritz Surf Festival attracts boarders from all over the world, and other watersports are on offer too, ranging from wind- and kite-surfing to Delta-planing. Golf features highly in this area, with numerous courses and links nearby. The local Basque sport of pelote and its variants offer a wonderful spectator experience which is not to be missed!
