Bear in mind the relatively low wages of staff so there is no need to tip excessively. Around&nbsp;50 baht (approximately $1.45) would be a decent tip after a meal.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re wondering whether or not to tip at restaurants in Koh Samui, it&#8217;s a good idea to leave around 10% of the bill if the service is good and the service charge is&nbsp;not included already.&nbsp;There is no need to tip bar staff or housekeeping staff but of course you can if you wish.
