There is no ‘best time’ to visit Orlando because the area offers so many highlights all year round.
If you visit during peak season, the theme parks will be at their busiest and best. If you visit at other times of the year you will be able to make the most of lower prices and shorter queues, so there really is no best time to visit Orlando.
High season or peak season occurs during most school holidays, and when the weather is at its best. These times include Spring Break, Easter, Summer Vacation, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year, as well as during other school holidays like the UK half terms and other federal US vacations.
Weather-wise, the best time to visit Orlando is from January to April, as there is little rain and the temperatures are pleasantly warm but not unbearable. The crowds during these months are also fairly low although there are exceptions during Spring Break and Easter.
If you visit Orlando during the summer months, you’ll find far more crowds as school is out from July to September. Although these months are fantastic times to visit, the weather is very hot and humid with highs of around 92 F (33 C).
There is a higher risk of rain and storms from June through November as this is Florida’s hurricane season. The season peaks between August and October so if you visit during these months you will find lower prices – it’s also unlikely that a hurricane will hit Orlando.
