Do you love the fall and all that goes with it such as Trick or Treating followed by Thanksgiving? Well there’s no place like Orlando and DisneyWorld to make the most of either of these two celebrations.
If you haven’t already booked your luxury Orlando villa, you’d better do it now. Luckily you can choose your vacation rental online very esily.
Trick and Treating fun
Halloween starts early at DisneyWorld. You can join in the fun now up until 1st November. Throughout this period you can help celebrate at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party that means fireworks and parades. Cinderella’s Castle changes colour while you watch. There’ll be ghosts and some famous Disney villains making appearances; look out for Cruella de Vil, Maleficient and Ursula.
Watch Mickey’s Boo-to-You Parade to see the headless horseman leading some scary floats with Disney characters in Halloween costumes including some gravediggers! But it’s not as scary as it sounds honest.
Arrive in costume for the party which takes place on selected nights between 7p.m – 10p.m. so check Disney’s calendar first. Don’t forget to collect candy as you travel through the park and remember it’s not really scary so it’s fine for youngsters of all ages.
Glow with the Show
From mid October you’ll also be able to get a glowing Mickey ear hat. These hats with glow-in-the-dark ears ‘dance’ to the music and change colours. You’ll all want some. They’ll set you back $25 but will be worth it for the fun and enjoyment there’ll bring.
Of course you’ll be able to celebrate Halloween in many of the other theme parks too. Don’t forget to take advantage of our attraction tickets deals which are also available online.
It’s a real fun time of year to be in Orlando and the temperatures will still be warm so away from the Parks you can lounge in luxury in your villa’s pool and still enjoy the summer kitchen and eating al fresco.
It really is a great place for a vacation. See you there?
