The street is dominated by designer stores, souvenir shops, and handmade jewellery designers / sellers. One of the finest jewellery shops on the island is Delos Dolphins located on Matoyanni at Enoplon Dimameon. The store sells superb reproductions of ancient and Byzantine jewellery as well as original designs.
Soho-Soho is by far the best known designer store, selling high-end clothing to an array of clients including well-known celebrities. Tom Hanks and Sarah Jessica Parker are just a few of the famous faces that have been spotted shopping here. Mykonos is also known for its colourful hand-crafted sandals, popular with locals and visitors alike. A great selection is available at Eccentric by Design in Fiorou Zouganelis and Kostas Rabias on Matoyianni. During the summer months most of Matoyianna’s shops and markets are open until around midnight, and you’ll never be short of things to do throughout the evening hours.
