Invitation

As many as 45% of us suffer with an allergy or an intolerance to certain foods which can make eating out difficult and often unpleasant.  If you or members of your party suffer with these problems you can book yourselves tickets for this event before you go.

You’ll need a normal park admission ticket so take a look at our special attraction ticket deals when you book your vacation villa near Disney.  On top of this you will need a special ticket which can be bought online for $50 each for everyone over 4 years olds.

What you can expect

Your ticket gets you entrance to this very special dessert party where all the foods will be free of the most common foods which cause allergic reactions.  Once you’ve booked online you’ll be emailed a list of all the ingredients and they will also be clearly labelled at the event.  The dessert buffet will have an ‘all-you-can-eat’ policy and afterwards you will get access to a private area to view the IllumiNations.  Finally you get a Gift Bag to take away.

This event takes place at the France Pavilion at Epcot on Saturday December 15th, so book your tickets now to avoid any disappointment.

This special event is being hosted by the Gluten Free & Dairy Free blog with the Allergy Free Mouse.  Both of these blogs advise on trips to DisneyWorld for the allergy or food intolerant amongst you. Check out their reviews for the most accommodating of DisneyWorld dining experiences.

Allergy policies at SeaWorld and Busch Garden

These two theme parks have new allergy-free policies too.  They’ve gone as far as linking with the Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Network (FAAN) and have trained more than 6,000 staff in their restaurants to meet guests’ needs.

Chocolate Shamu

They have put more menu options in place.  These include gluten-free pizza and a Shamu-shaped chocolate bar that is allergen-friendly.  All restaurants have ‘Chef Cards’ that you can fill out in advance to mark foods you’d like to avoid.

Of course back at your deluxe surroundings in your vacation home there will be plenty of space to prepare food that avoids the allergens that affect you or your loved ones.  So you can be sure to enjoy you Orlando villa whilst your there.
