We all love a firework display don’t we? There is something really captivating about the big pyrotechnic displays with all their colour and … well magic. And if we’re talking magic, no where does it better than Disney!

You can catch a firework display most nights at one of DisneyWorld’s parks to really end your day in wonder before heading back for your luxury, home from home, villa near Disney.

Wishes Nighttime Spectacular
Magic Kingdom has its Wishes Nighttime Spectacular with a host of Disney characters including Cinderella, Ariel, Peter Pan and Pinocchio flying through the air. The fireworks fill the sky in time to music and kids will watch in wonder. Even the adults amongst you will enjoy the spectacle. The display can be seen throughout the park, but Disney recommend a position in front of Cinderella’s Castle if you want to see Tinker Bell fly.

IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth

IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth
This captivating show at Epcot boasts fireworks, lasers and water to create this magnificent performance all to a great soundtrack. It tells the story of Planet Earth from creation and into the future. You’ll see the huge earth globe glide across the World Showcase Lagoon and discover that it is really a mega video display system as it becomes covered with images of famous people.  It’s a first for Disney – the first spherical display system of its kind.

Fantasmic!

Fantasmic!
Fantasmic! Is a great 25 minutes entertainment at Hollywood Studios. It’s a firework and water show that will excite all age groups. It stars Mickey and his friends and a few villains in a great pyrotechnic performance. It also involves lasers and water – a whole I million plus gallons of it.

Mickey re-enacts his performance in the Sorcerer’s Apprentice to the accompaniment of some favourite Disney music classics. As we said there’ll be friends there including The Lion King and Alice in Wonderland but also a few less welcome guests such as Cruella de Vil, Ursula, Frollo and more.

This show is also preformed nightly and again you’ll need to check times for the day you want to see it. You can watch from a seated outdoor theatre but get there early. Seating starts 90 minutes before the show and front-rowers might get wet! It will be worth it though.
