Despicable Me Minion Mayhem

Did you know that they are celebrating their 100th anniversary?  Well they are and this means some extra-special attractions have been introduced to their Florida theme parks this year.

The Amazing Adventures of Spiderman
There are three new attractions including the incredible 3D Spiderman ride.  This ride has been completely reinvented with new effects which will blow your mind according to Universal.

Wearing your cool high-tech 3D glasses the high definition animation will really come alive.  So much so that you’ll be able to count the stitches in Spider Man’s glove as he swoops to regain the stolen Statue of Liberty!  See him scale the sides of New York’s Skyscrapers and catch your breath as he freefalls 400ft to the pavement below.

Great fun for all the family.  Remember kids 40 – 48” in height need to be accompanied by an adult.  Those that don’t meet the 40” minimum will have to wait for another year until they are tall enough!

Despicable Me Minion Mayhem
It’s another 3D experience with the mischievous Minions, Gru, Margo, Edith and Agnes.  Starting off from the home of Gru, you will be recruited as one of his Minions.

You’ll receive training, though it won’t go as planned and you’ll end up in the super-villain laboratory.  All the characters of Despicable Me will be there with you; you’ll even end up at a Dance Party where you can make your own shapes on the dance floor.

Same height restrictions as the Spiderman ride apply.

100 years of Movie Memories
The pièce de resistance to celebrate Universal’s 100th anniversary is their nightly show.  It’s a chance to relive all those iconic moments in films made over the last 100 years.  Watch the heroes, laugh with comic moments and see good triumph over evil.

The film will be shown on waterfall screens at Universal Studios Lagoon with colourful fountains, fireworks and music.  Showing most nights at 9 or 9.30.  Please check their website and park maps for times and dates.

Whether you return to your Orlando rental villa with your heart in your mouth or still laughing, the fun at Universal Studios will be remembered long after you leave.
